FAQs
What age groups are the books suitable for?
Most books and PDF kits are tailored for children aged 3-6. But as we know, all kids develop and learn languages and writing at their own speed, and some activities will be suitable for younger and older kids too.
What if I don’t have a home printer?
If you don’t have a home printer, then look for print services online or in your local area. Some supermarkets, libraries, post offices and stationery shops offer printing services and you can email or upload the digital PDF files for printing.
Here in the UK I have used this print company, although I’m in no way affiliated with them except as a happy customer. In the US you could try a printer such as this one.
What if I don’t have a colour printer?
Don’t worry - the printables can be printed in plain black and white, too. Although they won’t look as pretty - I promise they will be just as educational and the kids will still have just as much fun with them.
Are there audio recordings?
At the moment this is not included for all books in the Swenglish Life Shop, but I’m hoping to add more recordings in the near future. The current audio recordings include ‘Påskfesten - the Easter Party’ and ‘Hejsan Hösten - Hello Autumn’.
Is this a language course?
This is not a language course, and there are no grammar lessons (pfew!). Instead, I created these activity kits and books to naturally build your children’s curiosity about the Swedish language.
They’ll build vocabulary through the joy of listening to the book and suggested worksheets and games.
All material is bilingual in Swedish and English so even if your own Swedish is a little rusty, you can support your child’s learning.
Can I get the Printables and PDF Worksheets printed as paperbacks?
No. The printables are available as digital PDF files only. You can easily print them off at home, or read the books on your favourite devices such as a smartphone, iPad or laptop.
Can I pay using a different currency?
At the moment I can only accept USD in the Swenglish Life Shop, and GBP in my Payhip shop.
It’s possible to use most debit and credit cards for foreign currencies though - please check with your bank for further details.
The traditional paperback books are available from booksellers worldwide in many different currencies.
Are the paperbacks available in other shops than Amazon?
Yes, most of the paperbacks are available in online bookshops such as Barnes and Noble and Bokus worldwide. Simply go to your favourite shop and search for the book title you’re looking for.
