All of these were true for me

When my son turned two years old it suddenly dawned on me that I really wanted him to understand my mother tongue.

I set about teaching him the only way I knew how - by having lots and lots of fun!

We played fun games, read lots of books, watched Swedish TV, ate cinnamon rolls and listened to audio books - and suddenly, one day everything fell into place and he started speaking Swedish with me and our Swedish family and friends on video calls.

It’s brought me so much happiness to watch him enjoy learning to speak and understand Swedish, and I’d love to share some of my very best tips and tricks with you!
