Best seller lists, reviews and a free promotion

Amazon bestseller list childrens around the world

It’s been an exciting couple of weeks here at Swenglish Life HQ! Not only did My first book about Sweden’ go live, but it immediately climbed up Amazon’s bestseller list in Children's Around the World Books.

It has been hovering between fourth and tenth place this last week, which is amazing for a brand new book that didn’t even have a single review to begin with!

Book reviews can make a big difference

We all use reviews these days when we’re choosing books for our kids, and I knew that if my book would have any chance to be discovered in Amazon’s book jungle I’d need reviews. Said and done - I contacted a number of lovely Swenglish mums here in the UK where we live, and asked them to review my book.

The comments they’ve left so far have put a big smile on my face and I hope their kind words will really help other parents of bilingual kids find the book. A big thank you to each and every one of you, I can’t tell you how much it means to me to hear you enjoyed reading the book to your kids.

Now I just need to do the same exercise for, because apparently they don’t share reviews with, who could’ve guessed?

Get the book for free this weekend

If you’d like to check out the book for your kids, then I’m running a free E-book promotion from Thursday to Sunday (October 18-21) this week, and you’ll be able to download the book for free from Amazon wherever you live. Here’s the link to the UK store, and here’s the link to the US store.

You can read the ebook on your Kindle, iPad or computer using Amazon’s free Kindle app. And if you have time, then I’d love it if you could leave a review when you and the kids are done reading.

Tack och hej! [thanks and bye!]

PS. Exciting Christmas counting book news coming next week! Sign up for my newsletter below and I’ll email you to let you know when the book goes live! Here’s a sneak peek of the cover:
